September 2011 Flooding

The following pictures show some of the flooding in our area along the Susquehanna River this past September.

Meshoppen Flooding

Here are some pictures from the Meshoppen area.  The first few are on the rear street looking south towards Route 6.  The rest are on the other side of the bridge looking north through the main Route 6 intersection.

Tunkhannock Flooding

Here are some pictures of the flooding in Tunkhannock.  The first few are of the main intersection in the middle of town - one looking down Bridge Street and the other looking East on Rt. 6 with the Dietrich Theater on the right. The 3rd is a closer view of the Dietrich.  The next 3 are of Gay's True Value, another of the landmarks in Tunkhannock.  Last row is a few other views around Tunkhannock - East Tioga Street, Rt 29 north looking toward the old Roller Skating rink.
