Easter at Mom's March 30, 2013

Easter was a bit early this year, coming on the last weekend of March.  Since Easter Sunday is usually busy for our families due to various church activities, we usually have our big Easter dinner on Saturday with all the families gathering together at Mom's.

Although the day started out cool, it warmed up nicely into the 50's. 

After the meal, there was the traditional Easter candy hunt around Mom's pond.

As a bonus, Karen, Brian & Lee went for a walk and heard the peeptoads out in the swamp towards Dr. Marones.  This marks the first they were heard and marks the end of a fairly long winter this year.
