4th of July Fireworks

Each year we have our own 4th of July fireworks display.  Hey, what else would you expect from a bunch of pyrotechnic crazies?  We have done this for a number of years now and we usually do it at Mom's on the dam of the pond.  This year Mom hosted an evening picnic and afterward we all anxiously waited for darkness to settle in.  Some of us were a bit impatient and set a few things off that don't really need darkness - but that's OK.

All the photos were taken without flash and without a tripod so the long shutter time and a bit of movement caused blurry pictures.  Many of the pictures ended up somewhat overexposed so the sky and surroundings appear brighter than they really were.
