New Section - Audio Projects

4/20/2017

Just added a new section - Audio Projects.

The past year 2016 I thought I would try my hand at producing an short Audio Drama. I chose a section from a book that Alissa has written. I've attended the Lamplighter Guild for 2 years now and got a chance to see how they produce audio dramas.

It was supposed to be a surprise for Alissal but I almost gave it away when I put up a post last February on a forum that she sometimes visits. She saw my edited post and was suspicious but let it go after a few weeks.

I presented it to her and her sisters on March 18, 2017. They were all really surprised and liked it!

The music I used is from John Campbell.  He said I could use it for personal use but could not publish it publicly as it was owned by whoever he originally created it for - hence the log in requirement.  Sorry!

Yeah, I know.  I've not been keeping up very well with the website over the winter months.  Part of the reason is that the camera that I like to carry with me is broken so I have to use my big SLR camera.  I know, that's just an excuse.  I already have stuff on my USB drive that I just haven't gotten around to putting up.  I finally put up the pictures of Easter and the Annual Field Fire - they were requested.  Which means that some people actually look at this site. Imagine that!!

Busy, busy, busy

Been busy this summer and haven't had much time to get pictures and even less time to update the website.  Added a few pictures from Aaron's HS graduation and a page about the sweet corn we did this year.  Also added a small page about the reunion this year.

The Field Fire!

One of the signs of Spring at our farm is the annual field fire!  Offically, for the 911 comm center and the Meshoppen Fire company, this is a "controlled burn activity at the Stang Farm".  For us, it's a chance for those of us who are pyrotechnetic nuts to have some real fun - in a safe and controlled way of course -  cough cough, ahem..... Posted the Pix under the Photo Galleries section.

Put a password on the About Us page and moved the map to that page - too many negative comments & concerns. Password is Dad's middle name.

Well, I just found this Weebly site today and thought I'd give it a try.  I created the site at work and then uploaded the pictures at hone in the evening.  It seems pretty easy with quite a few editing options.
